In the beginning…
Camille and Tyler met the old fashioned way—through friends. Tyler was the dreamboat (or degenerate if you’ve heard Durenda tell the story) staying on Camille’s soon to be roommate’s couch (while looking for an apartment). Camille was the new girl—coming into a group of friends she didn’t know at the time would become lifers. After two years of that platonic life, one fateful night at Villain’s (RIP) helped them see each other in a new light. Inseparable for the almost 7 years since, they have built the coziest home in Los Angeles full of love, plants, and of course, Aldo.

and then two became one…

Yes, we are already married.
After 7 years, you think we were going to wait for a wedding?!? Camille wouldn’t have it.
As you all know (and as many other couples across the globe experienced), the world wasn’t fit for a wedding in the traditional sense on our original date, so….we eloped!
Atop Doe Mountain in Sedona, Arizona on the 16th of May in the year 2020, donning white dress and black tie, we vowed to spend the rest of our lives together. Married by Edward St. Pierre (through the great powers of the Universal Life Church and a $15 online registration fee to become an officially ordained minister) and witnessed by Samantha St. Pierre, as well as our 3rd legally required witness (our wedding photographer) we signed the papers and made it official.
COVID ravaged our communities, our country, our entire world…Taking away our wedding was only one small part, but in losing the ability to celebrate with all of our friends and loved ones, there was one small silver lining granted—Alone atop the mountain with our audience of 3, we were reminded that getting married isn’t about a wedding. It was, is, and always should be about the 2 people saying “I do” (and Aldo of course)…
…having said that, we really missed you all and would love to have an epic fucking celebration with everyone…as originally intended.
So why New Orleans?
Because it’s amazing.
It’s also where the wedding journey officially began.

“Getting married is only making official what we’ve always known… we are going to be together forever.”
— Tyler
