Where is this happening?

New Orleans. Primarily in and around the French Quarter. Our 2 main venues are:

I thought this was in Canada?

Sadly the logistical challenges presented with international travel as well as Canada’s own event safety measures and restrictions in response to COVID-19 made having a wedding in BC in the spirit we attended impossible.

So why New Orleans?

If you don’t already know, you’ll understand once you’re there. It’s a hell of a good time.

How do I get there?

We recommend flying into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).

Where should I stay?

Plan to stay either in or near the French Quarter. There are several wonderful historic hotels in the quarter at a variety of price points. Airbnbs are somewhat tricky as they are technically not allowed within the quarter. If looking to stay in an airbnb, we recommend looking in Marigny which is just a few short blocks away from the quarter and packs plenty of its own charm. Please visit the “Travel & Stay” page to see where we are staying.

How do I get around?

You will need to Uber/Lyft to and from the airport. If you’re staying in/near the French Quarter then everywhere you need to go will be within walking distance. We’d advise against renting a car.

What will the weather be like?

New Orleans traditionally has terrible weather with sweltering highs, unbearable humidity, and a bevy of hurricanes. Fortunately we are going in March and avoiding all that. Traditional weather in March calls for highs in the mid-70s and lows in the mid-50s. Rain is less common this time of year, but it’s still New Orleans and quick showers can often pass through unexpectedly.

Can I bring my kids?

As much as we would love to include everyone in our wedding, New Orleans is best experienced as an adult city. As such, this is an adults-only event.

What about COVID-19?

Because the pandemic is still very much happening, we are taking a few important measures to ensure the safety of our guests:

  • You will need to submit either proof of vaccination or a negative PCR COVID test within 24hrs of your travel.

  • All guests will be expected to bring a mask and use where required by local businesses

  • We will be expected to abide by all city / state rules while in NOLA.

Wait, didn’t you guys already get married?

We did! This won’t be a wedding, just a celebration of one. No ceremony, just party. Check out our wedding photos here if you haven’t seen them.

What can we get you?

Your presence is your present. Travel can be costly so please put all money towards having the best time in New Orleans possible.

What is the dress code?

  • Friday night—Dressy, but not formal. You’re in NOLA on a Friday night! Don’t be afraid to do it up!

  • Saturday Night—Formal. You better look fucking sexy

  • Sunday Morning—Whatever you passed out in the night before. If you slept naked…all the better.
